About the artist: Born on October 12, 1937, in the city of Gatchina, Leningrad Region. He graduated from the Moscow State School "In Memory of 1905" (1962). Teachers in the specialty: T. Serebryakova. Painter. Main topics: people of work, land and sea. Favorite genre - landscape; also created still lifes, decorative panels, murals. The artist’s canvases are distinguished by a generalized image, monumentality, restrained color scheme, built on bright colors. The composition is built with clearly defined planes that fill the surface of the canvas and obey a certain rhythm; details are written out on a large scale, expressively. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1993). He worked as an artist in Country Workshops (now Sergiev Posad Moscow Region; 1962); the monumentalist of the Yalta workshops (Crimea, 1973-1991). At creative work. Participated in exhibitions: zonal, republican, foreign (since 1969). Personal exhibitions - in Simferopol (2000) and Yalta (2003, 2006-2007).
