About the artist: Painter and graphic artist. Bright representative of the "Soviet avant-garde." Studied at the Moscow Polytechnic Institute with E.M. Belyutina, I.I. Chekmazova (1954-1959). Participant of exhibitions since 1965. In the 1960-1970s. worked in industrial graphics. Illustrated and designed books for publishing houses "Soviet Writer", Geografgiz, Altai Book Publishing House. Performed lithographs - “Portrait of the poetess B.A. Akhmadullina "(1980)," Carnival at the exhibition "(1981). Among her paintings are portraits of artists I.A. Plamenevskaya (1974) and A.V. Zvereva (1983). Personal exhibitions of N.I. Konysheva took place in Moscow (1974, 1987, 1988) and in France (1988). The artist's works are in the State Russian Museum, the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Nukus, in all major regional museums, in the Museum of Naive Art of Nice (France), in Russian and foreign private collections.
