About the artist: Born on 08/17/1945 in the village of Limanskoe, Odessa region.

Nikolay Prokopenko is a painter, graphic artist, book graphic illustrator, restorer of easel, tempera, oil and monumental painting, decorator. The artist has hosted 650 All-Union, All-Ukrainian, International, Foreign and regional exhibitions, including 126 personal exhibitions, 10 Biennials. Laureate, diploma winner and prize-winner of International, All-Ukrainian and regional exhibitions, as well as a number of International Biennials and Triennials of graphics and illustrations of printed and handwritten books.
