Russian artist. Born in 1939 in the city of Pavlovo-Posad, Moscow Region. In 1959 he graduated from the Moscow secondary art school. In 1966 he graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute. IN AND. Surikov. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1969.
The artist Strulev is a master of primitivism. Since the 1960s Moscow hosts his solo exhibitions. Also, the artist was exhibited in Europe and Canada. His works are in museums in Bryansk, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Orenburg, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Kyrgyzstan and others.
