About the artist: Born on August 14, 1949, in the village of Ulyanovka, Kherson region. He graduated from the Kharkov Art - Industrial Institute (1972). Teachers in the specialty: O. Khmelnitsky, E. Bykov. He worked in the field of painting, graphics, monumental art. The main techniques are stained glass, cold encaustic, watercolor, pastel, etching, lithography, collage. The author of monumental realistic multi-figure murals from picture organization, portraits. The main expressive means are the distortion of proportions, the displacement of plans, the glow of color. At the center of the Christian theme, he developed the fundamental concept of the synthesis of the past and the future into the current mythological, biblical, esoteric symbolism of color, which symbolically reveals the essence of philosophical paintings, affirming eternal values. In a graphic, a dynamic pattern and lines that intersect and break off create a feeling of tension and action. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1978). Honored Artist of Ukraine (2007). Honored Artist of Crimea. Laureate of the AR Crimea Prize (2003). Laureate of the S. Duvan Prize (2010). Docent. Participated in exhibitions: republican, all-union and international (since 1972). Personal exhibitions - on the island of Crete (Greece, 1997), in Simferopol (2000), Yalta, Crimea (2000, 2003, 2005). Main works: painting - “Holidays” at the Wedding Palace (1986) “Angel” (1991), “Mother and Child” (1994), “Family” (1994), “Panagia Kera” (1997); stained glass window - “Song” (1974); murals - “Pioneria”, “Gymnasts” (1976), “Friendship of Peoples” (1977), “Autumn” (1978), “Peace” (1985); panel - “Motherhood” (1979); painting - cycle "Rural iconostasis" (1989-1997); series - “Crimean landscapes” (1989-2002), “Sevastopol plein air” (2002-2006); etchings - “Quitten in Sevastopol” (1983-1993), “Crimean watercolors” (1996-2005); "Self-portrait", "Family" (1980), "V. Filatov ”(1984),“ Staroselsky Landscape ”,“ Family ”(1988),“ Radonitsa (Zolotoslov) ”(1989),“ Angel ”,“ George ”,“ Mikhail ”(1990),“ Morning in Balaclava ”,“ Bakhchisaray Palace ”,“ Balaklava ”,“ Balaklava Bay ”,“ Fishing Village ”(2006); illustrations in the novel “Goodbye Boys” by B.
