About the artist: Born on April 7, 1953, in the village of Chernaya, Khmelnitsky region. He graduated from the Kharkov Art - Industrial Institute (1985). Teachers in the specialty: E. Bykov, L. Chernov, B. Kolesnikov, and O. Khmelnitsky, E. Egorov. Painter. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1989). He was awarded a diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2009), the Certificate of Honor of the ILC of Ukraine (2011). He worked at the Sumy art-production plant (since 1985): director (1994-2003). Participated in exhibitions: Republican (since 1987). Solo exhibitions - in Kiev (1992-1993, 2005), Sumy (1995, 1997, 2003). Major works: “Night Birds” (1993), “Sunday” (1993), “Supramental” (2003), “Veterans” (2011); monumental - decorative paintings of the administration building of the Electron plant (1986), recreation of the children's clinic (1988), lobby of the station for young technicians (1989); painting - “Continuity” (1986), “With grandfather” (1987), triptych “Anxious Dinner”, “Return of the Old Hours” (1991), “T. Shevchenko. My thoughts ”,“ Night birds ”,“ Old motive ”,“ May night ”(1993),“ Those who never sleep ”(2000),“ Fairy-tale city ”(2003),“ Bride ”(2004),“ Duma about the Dnieper "," I. Mazepa Poltava, 1709 "(2005)," T. Shevchenko. Return from exile in Ukraine ”(2006),“ Tower of Babel ”(2007). The works are kept in the Shevchenko National Preserve (Kanev city, Cherkasy region), Sumy Art Museum, Konotop Museum of Local Lore (Sumy region). He lived and worked in the city of Sumy.
