About the artist: Was born in 1928 (1937?), In the village of Smolin, Chernihiv region. Studied at: Dnepropetrovsk Art School (1953-1958, graduated with honors); Kiev Art Institute (1962-1964 specializing in drawing and drafting). Teachers in the specialty: V. Kasiyana, G. Chernyavsky, B. Spornikov, K. Trokhimenko, V. Kostetsky. Painter, landscape painter. For political reasons, he was not admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR. He taught drawing and drawing techniques at the Ushinsky Odessa Pedagogical Institute (1962-1964). He worked in the Chernigov art-production workshops since 1964. Participated in regional art exhibitions since 1970. Personal exhibition: 1972, in the art department of the Chernihiv Historical Museum. The works are kept in the Chernihiv Art Museum. Lived and worked in Chernigov since 1964. He died in 2002.
