About the artist: Born on September 17, 1934 in the village of Nizhnyaya Khortytsya, now Zaporozhye region, Zaporozhye region. Graduated from the Odessa Art School (1958). Teachers by profession: I. Gursky, V. Puteiko. Painter, graphic artist. He worked in the field of easel painting and graphics. In his works he glorified his fatherland, Khortitsa, views of the Dnieper region, monuments of cult architecture of the Russian Federation and Ukraine. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1964). Participated in exhibitions: republican, all-union, international (1960). Personal - in Zaporozhye (1974, 1977, 1985, 1999, 2001-2002), in Kiev (1998). Major works: "Winter Morning" (1962), "Yachts" (1967), "Morning" (1971), "Sea of Azov" (1973), "Late October" (1974), "Over the Dnieper" (1975), " March. Moscow Region "(1976)," Autumn on Khortitsa "(1976)," Winter Evening on Khortitsa "(1987)," St. Sophia Cathedral. Kiev Autumn "(2002); graphics - "Tarasov night" (1964), "Kiev in winter" (1966), "Revival of the Dneproges" (1980), "Apricot blossomed" (1986), "Winter evening" (1986), "Steelworkers Zaporozhye" (1987), "Spring on Khortytsya" (1988). Works are kept in museums in Kiev, Donetsk, Lvov, Gorlovka, Berdyansk, Zaporozhye. Lived and worked in the city of Zaporozhye, died on March 31, 2017.
