About the artist: Mandrikova - Donchik Nadezhda Alekseevna was born on May 26, 1923 in the village of Sebino, Nikolaev Region. Since childhood, she was hardworking, responsible, friendly, was fond of ballet and drawing, dreamed of becoming an actress. After graduating from the seven-year school, she studied at night school, worked in court, at the factory, and on weekends as an extra in the Theater for Young Spectators.
In 1951 she graduated from Odessa Art College. M. Grekova, faculty of painting. She worked in Lviv, and in 1953 she returned to Nikolaev. Since 1958, she began her creative career. From 1956 to 1986 she worked as an artist - painter in the Nikolaev society of artists, then - in the Art Fund. She worked in the genre of landscape, still life, portrait.
In the 50s, she simply wrote life the way she saw: her relatives, post-war longing (“Memories”, “Mourning Mother”, “Long Live the Children”, “Blue Dawn”). Her main theme is family: daughter Larisa, friends ("My daughter", "New Year", "Portrait of mom", "Portrait of dad", "Nastya"). The everyday life in the artist’s painting is inseparable from the majestic: (“Lighted candle”, “Lord, have mercy”, “Easter”). And I also want to visit among its flowers - peonies, lilacs, chamomiles, sunflowers. Immerse yourself in its blooming "Apple Orchards", "Cherry Orchard Near the Hut", mourn with the picture "Birch in early spring", find that one "Road to Home".
World N. A. Mandrikovoi - A donut is kind and humane, and the main thing for her in this world is respect for a person, a desire to discern how one person differs from another, and portray her unique. Her work is bright, joyful, radiant.
On her account - more than ten personal exhibitions, his paintings are in museums in Ukraine, Russia, France, Germany. Many works are in private collections in our country and abroad. Nadezhda Alekseevna took part in regional and republican exhibitions.
