About the artists: Kolosovsky Georgy Sergeevich (1913-1988) – painter, landscape painter. Born in the village. Pervomaiskoye, Odessa region. He graduated from the Odessa Art School (1929), where he studied with P. Volokidin, T. Fraerman and A. Shovkunenko. He taught drawing and painting (1935). Took lessons from L. Turzhansky (1943). Participated in the organization of the Zaporozhye Society of Artists and the regional organization of the Ukrainian Artists' Union (1945). Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1945). Lived and worked in Zaporozhye.
