About the artist: Smirnov Evgeni Vladimirovich was born on June 16, 1959 in Rybinsk, the Yaroslavl region, Russia.
From 1970 to 1975 studied at a children's art school.
From 1975 to 1979 studied at the painting faculty of the Saratov Art College. Bogolyubov, where his teacher was V. Bilonovich. Upon completion of training, Evgeni Smirnov moved to Sevastopol.
Since 1979 - a participant in city, regional, republican and international exhibitions.
Since 1984 he has been working in the art fund of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
In 1993 he joined the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
In 2005, Smirnov Evgeni Vladimirovich was awarded the title. - Honored Artist of Ukraine.
The artist’s works are in the Sevastopol Art Museum. M.P. Kroshitsky and in other museum and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany and other countries.
