About the artists: Glushchenko Nikolay Petrovich (1901-1977) - Ukrainian painter. Graduated from the Berlin Higher School of Fine Arts in Charlottenburg (1924). Lived abroad in France and Spain (until 1936). Exhibited at the Autumn Salon and the Salon of the Independent. Personal exhibitions in Paris, Milan, Bucharest, Prague, Stockholm, Rome (32 personal exhibitions took place during his lifetime). Taught at the Kyiv Art School, professor of Kyiv Art Institute (1939). People's Artist of Ukraine (1944), laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine. T. Shevchenko. One of the most famous Ukrainian artists.
