Studied at the school-studio of I. I. Mashkov in Moscow (1912), MUZhVZ (1912-1917).
He lived in Moscow. Landscape painter, genre painter. One of the founders of the Art Society (1917–1918) in Ivanovo-Voznesensk, which united young artists, writers, musicians and actors.
Member and exhibitor of the Association of Artists of the Moscow School (1923-1924, member since 1917), AHRR (1924-1929, member since 1923). Participated in exhibitions TPHV (1922, 1923), "Socialist construction in Soviet art" (1930, 1931), reporting works of artists sent to the areas of industrial and collective farm construction (1931, 1932), in Moscow, a traveling exhibition of paintings and graphics by Moscow artists (1932) in Kharkov, the international exhibition "Woman in the USSR and abroad" (1931) in Berlin and others.
The works are in a number of regional museum collections.
