About the artist: Born March 1, 1911 in Romny (now Poltava region). He graduated from the Moscow Workers' Faculty of Arts named after A. Lunacharsky (1929) and the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1934). Specialty teachers - K. Rudakov, P. Utkin, M. Bobishev. He worked in the field of theatrical and decorative art, easel painting and graphics. Major works: decoration of the performances of Zarya by G. Dzhimiev (North Ossetian State Theater); “Shelmenko-batman” G. Kvitki-Osnovyanenko (Kiev Ukrainian Drama Theater named after I. Franko); "Night of Errors" by O. Goldsmith (Odessa Russian Drama Theater of the Soviet Army); the painting "Silent Witnesses" (1947); "Wind", lithography (1962) and another. He participated in republican exhibitions since 1954.
