About the artist: Born on December 31, 1924, in the village of Yaropovichi (now the Zhytomyr region). Studied at the art studio of Magnitogorsk (1941 - 1942). Teachers by profession: I. Grabar, B. Dekhtyareva. He worked in the field of easel painting. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and a medal. Participated in republican exhibitions (since 1957), personal (together with A. Shkurk) - Kiev (1967). Major works: "Gifts of Autumn" (1963); The Tamed Grouse (1964); Polesie Motive (1966); "Relics", "Bread", "Mury fortetsi" (1967) and others. Lived and worked in the city of Zhitomir.
