About the artist: Painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR. Famous Ukrainian landscape painter. Born in 1906 in Belarus. Since 1925 he studied at the Odessa Polytechnic of Fine Arts (Art Institute) with the legendary P.G. Volokidina, T.B. Fraerman, M.I., Beetle. The first solo exhibition of Nikolai Sheluto took place at the 4th year of study at the institute. Since then, the master has regularly exhibited at personal, regional exhibitions, and republican exhibitions. Art museums of Ukraine store more than 80 works of the master.
