About the artist: Angela Valerievna Moiseenko was born in Simferopol on November 19, 1970. A talented girl has been drawing since childhood, although her parents did not attach particular importance to Angela's hobby. Mom brought little Angela to enroll in the Simferopol Art School, but they were late for the recruitment of students. Angela showed her children's drawing to the examination committee, in which the sea was depicted with all cheerful colors. The girl was admitted to art school without exams.
After graduating from school, Angela Moiseenko decided to continue her creative path by entering the Simferopol Art School named after N.S. Samokisha. This was followed by the Kharkov Institute of Art and Industry and the Department of Monumental Painting. There, the artist met her husband, the Sevastopol artist Vsevolod Sukhorukikh, who brought her to Sevastopol. It was thanks to him that Sevastopol acquired such a bright artist, whose painting is a real decoration of the creative component of the city.
Creative activity.
Angela Moiseenko since 1997 is a constant participant of regional, republican, all-Ukrainian exhibitions. Her painting is distinguished by its extraordinary color, plasticity of color, energetic plots, which could not fail to notice and appreciate the sophisticated Sevastopol viewer, who with amazement plunged into the attractive magical atmosphere of the artist's paintings. In 2000, after several years of hard and hard work, the artist was admitted to the membership of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
The first personal-joint exhibition "Meeting" of Angela Moiseenko and her husband Vsevolod Sukhorukikh took place in 2004. Sevastopol artists showed their work in the "Green Pyramid" gallery, which will become a hospitable home for their paintings. At the exhibition "Meeting" Angela Moiseenko presented bright paintings with various subjects - Ukrainian flavor and folklore, circus motifs, as well as "living" still lifes with flowers streaming across the canvas.
In 2005, the next personal exhibition of the Sevastopol artist Angela Moiseenko "Painting" took place in the "Green Pyramid" gallery. In it, Angela reveals more about the theme of theatrical and circus art, sensually immersing herself in it. Since childhood, little Angela often visited the Simferopol Circus, where she absorbed love and interest in this genre of art. Sad clowns and trainers, funny harlequins, actresses, violinists, jesters are just a few of the characters from Angela Moiseenko's rich palette of plots.
The next personal exhibition of Angela Moiseenko took place in the Sevastopol gallery "Green Pyramid" in April 2011. And in September 2012, Angela Moiseenko presented her solo exhibition "The Circus Lights the Lights" at the Green Pyramid gallery, which is friendly to her. The exhibition presents circus plots and Ukrainian motives, diluted with light still lifes.
In December 2012, the artist Angela Moiseenko gave the city a wonderful opportunity to admire her personal exhibition "New Year's Carnival", which opened in the exhibition hall of the Ukrainian Cultural and Information Center. The exhibition was widely presented with carnival, circus, theatrical subjects, as well as still lifes. The plot of each painting is woven from the artist's incredible sincerity and sensuality, framed by bright, memorable details. There is nothing superfluous in the paintings, each detail carries its own special meaning. According to Angela Moiseenko, everything she writes about, “you need to pass through yourself, live from beginning to end”.
In December 2012, the Sevastopol artist Angela Moiseenko at the Victory of the Year award ceremony deservedly won in the Talent of the Year nomination.
Angela Moiseenko's paintings are kept in the Sevastopol Art Museum named after M.P. Kroshitsky, in various galleries. They are in private collections in Russia, USA, Canada, France, Germany, England, New Zealand.
