About the artist: Born on May 18, 1925 in the city of Chimkent, now Kazakhstan. Studied at the Riga Academy of Arts (1950-1956). Teachers by profession - J. Tilberg, E Skulme. Painter and director. He worked in the field of easel painting. The main genres are portraits and thematic paintings. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1960). Member of the Great Patriotic War. Awarded with medals. Chief Designer of the Zaporozhye Music and Drama Theater named after N. Shchors (now named after V. Magar) since 1970.
