About the artist: Was born on April 20, 1930, in the city of Lyubotiya, Kharkov region. Graduated from the Kharkov Art School (1951) and the Kharkov Art Institute. Teachers by profession - O. Kokel, E. Egorov, M. Slipchenko, V. Sizikov, L. Fitilev, M. Ribalchenko, S. Solodovnik. He worked in the field of easel painting. Member of the CPSU. Participated in exhibitions: republican (since 1960), foreign (since 1965). Major works: portrait of the blacksmith of the plant named after the January Uprising, deputy of the Supreme Rada of the USSR D. Ovsyannikov (I960); Kovale (1960 - 1961); "Spring Morning" (1963) and others. Lived and worked in the city of Odessa. He died in 2010.
