The painting titled "Faithful Horse", created with oil on canvas, depicts a serene yet evocative rural winter scene. The composition centers around a rustic wooden house, partially covered in snow, and a solitary horse harnessed to a sled. The muted color palette, dominated by whites, greys, and earthy tones, immerses the viewer in the stark beauty and quiet resilience of life in the countryside during the colder months. The wooden house, with its weathered texture and snow-laden roof, stands as a symbol of simplicity and endurance. The details of the structure, such as the uneven logs and patches of snow, suggest a longstanding connection to the natural world. It exudes a sense of shelter and history, grounding the scene in a tangible reality. The horse, portrayed with gentle realism, stands near the house, patiently waiting by the sled. Its posture and expression radiate a quiet strength and loyalty, embodying the title of the painting. The artist’s careful rendering of the horse’s form emphasizes its role not just as a working animal but as a steadfast companion to those who rely on it.The landscape in the background is vast and unassuming, with the snowy fields merging into a pale horizon. The sky, painted in soft shades of blue and peach, adds a touch of warmth to the otherwise cold scene. The interplay of light and shadow on the snow enhances the texture and depth of the composition, drawing the viewer’s eye across the canvas.Through "Faithful Horse," the artist seeks to convey themes of resilience, loyalty, and harmony with nature. The painting celebrates the enduring relationship between humans and animals, as well as the quiet beauty of rural life. It invites the viewer to reflect on the steadfastness and reliability of simple things—a faithful horse, a humble home, and the rhythm of life dictated by the seasons. This work captures a moment of stillness and connection, reminding us of the enduring bonds and timeless values that define human existence.

Oleksiyander decided to end his engineering career and become a humanitarian. Since 1990, he began to write and publish philosophical poems. Later he decided to devote himself to painting, a passion for which began during his years of study at the Lviv Polytechnic with caricatures and caricatures of classmates and teachers.
Since 2017 he has been painting with oil paints. Oleksiyander does not have a formal art education, but he is convinced that the craft and talent of an artist do not directly depend on professional education. The artist's works are characterized by completeness of composition and depth of meaning. He is not afraid to work with different themes, his paintings are true modern art that touches people. The artist’s portfolio includes landscapes and views of his favorite cities, portraits of pop stars, politicians, athletes, relatives, and animals. “I draw a toga when I feel the need for it. Therefore, I cannot say that I work in some narrow direction. Rather, it is a call from the soul,” the artist says about himself.
