About the artist: Born March 20, 1922 in Kiev. He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1955). He studied under V. Kassiyan. Member of World War II. He worked in the poster industry. Major works: cry (co-authored with O. Terentyev) “Forward, to new victories!” (1957); “Communism is the youth of the world, and to build it young” (1959); “Let them become famous with a ringing song”; “Glory to the working people, a mighty power!” (1966); a series of posters dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Komsomol (1967, and others. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1957; All-Union and foreign since 1959. He died in 1997.
