About the artist: Miroshnychenko Pavlo Petrovych (1920-2005)
Crimean artist, graphic artist. Honored Artist of Ukraine.

Pavlo Petrovych Miroshnychenko was born on June 1, 1920 in Belovodsk, Luhansk region.
Participant of the Great Patriotic War. Awarded with orders and medals.
From 1946 to 1951, he studied at the Crimean Art School named after N. S. Samokisha. Teachers: S. Vladimirov, N. Shcheglov, M. Kroshytskyi, V. Bernadskyi, F. Zakharov.
Since 1951, the artist lived and worked in Sevastopol.
In 1951-1960, he taught at secondary school No. 30 and the shipbuilding technical school of Sevastopol.
Since 1952, Pavlo Petrovych has been a participant in city, regional, republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions.
From 1960 to 1972, he managed the Sevastopol city studio of artists.
Since 1965, Miroshnychenko P.P. - member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.
Landscape artist, master of still life. One of the brightest representatives of the impressionist tradition in the Crimea.
In 1996, Pavlo Petrovych Miroshnychenko was awarded the title "Honored Artist of Ukraine".
The works are in the Sevastopol Art Museum named after M. P. Kroshytskyi and other museum and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, France, Germany, Japan, the USA, Poland and the Czech Republic. Five seascapes were purchased for the Museum of Russian Art in Japan.
