About the artist: Born on November 6, 1892 in Tiflis (now Tbilisi, Georgian SSR). He graduated from the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1918). Teachers by specialty - K. Korevoy, S. Malyutin. He worked in the industry of easel painting and art history. Main works: portrait of the honored artist of the RSFSR K. F. Bogaevsky (1940); "In the workshop of the artist" (1952); “Grapes and peaches” (1959); "Tassels of grapes" (1959); “Flowers in a White Crib” (1967); monograph "1. K. Aivazovsky ”, M., 1950, Simferopol, 1953, Budapest, 1962; "TO. F. Bogaevsky ", M., 1962 and others. He participated in exhibitions since 1927, republican from 1949, all-Union since 1938, personal - Feodosia, Simferopol, 1958; Kiev, 1959. Honored Worker of Culture of the Ukrainian SSR (1969). He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and a medal. He died on September 11, 1976.
