About the artist: Ukrainian painter. Tkachenko Andrey Zinovievich was born on April 13, 1926 at the Druzhevetsky farm (Oryol Oblast, Russia). In 1957 he graduated from the Penza Art College named after K. Savitsky, where he studied under I.S. Goryushkina-Sorokopudova. In 1996, Tkachenko A.Z. was awarded the title "Honored Artist of Ukraine". The artist’s works are in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
