About the artist: Born September 23, 1905 in the city of Orhei, now Moldova. He graduated from the Chisinau art school (1925), studied in private studios in Berlin (1924-1926) and Paris (1926-1929). Painter, master of artistic weaving, embroidery and ceramics. He worked in the field of easel painting and decorative arts (artistic textiles, embroidery, ceramics). Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (1945). Participated in exhibitions: republican (1946), all-Union (1957), foreign (1938). Major works: carpets, tapestries, decorative fabrics, decorative tableware; still lifes "Asters" (1956), "Peonies" (1958) and others. Lived and worked in the city of Kiev, died on October 22, 1989.
