About the artist: Peter Stolyarenko (1925-2018) - Ukrainian painter, landscape painter, mariner, still life master. He was born in the village of Chestnuts, Crimea. He studied at the Studio of Fine Arts at the Feodosia National Art Gallery. I. Aivazovsky in M. Barsamov. Works mainly in the genre of seascape and thematic painting. His still lifes and landscapes are considered unsurpassed in color and composition. Honored Artist of Ukraine (1972). People's Artist of Ukraine (1985). He lived and worked in Yalta.
