About the artist: Ukrainian painter, master of still life. Zinaida Ivanovna Sokolova was born in 1907. She studied at the Kiev Art Institute with N. Burachek, S. Grigoriev, I. Padalka. Since 1954, Sokolova Z.I. - A participant in republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions. She worked in easel painting. Among the main topics - lyrical landscape, still life. She lived in Kiev. The artist’s works are presented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
