About the artist: Born on May 27, 1918 in the village of Krasnopolie (now Sumy Region). He graduated from the Kharkov Art Institute (1960). Teachers by specialty - V. Mironenko, G. Bondarenko. Member of World War II. He worked in the easel graphics industry. Major works: “Our Friends” (1960); “Autumn Night”, “Monument to T. G. Shevchenko in Kharkov” (1961); “Before the campaign”, “Sailor's nights” and others. He participated in republican exhibitions from 1960. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and medals. He died on August 14, 1994.
