About the artist: Born on November 4, 1919 in Irkutsk. He graduated from the Irkutsk Art College (1941). Teachers by specialty - O. Vologdin, O. Zhibinov. He worked in the field of theatrical decoration and monumental art. The main works: the design of the performances “Guelder-rose Guy” by O. Korniychuk (1950) (Vladivostok Drama Theater named after M. Gorky); “Love of Spring” by K. Trenev (Dushanbe State Russian Drama Theater named after V. Mayakovsky); “Pilots” by V. Rozov (Sevastopol Drama Theater of the Black Sea Fleet); “Optimistic tragedy” by V. Vishnevsky (1957), “Irkutsk history” by O. Arbuzov (Sevastopol Russian Drama Theater named after A. Lunacharsky) and others. He participated in exhibitions: republican since 1960, all-union since 1958. He was awarded medals. He died on February 23, 2000.
