About the artist: Ukrainian painter. Evgeny Nikolaevich Ryman was born on March 14, 1949 in Minsk in Belarus. In 1985 he graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Repin in Leningrad. Since 1995, has been actively participating in art exhibitions in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Lithuania, France. Solo exhibitions of E.N. Ryman were held in Simferopol, Yalta, Sevastopol. Master of landscape and still life. In his work follows the traditions of painting by V. Tsvetkova and F. Zakharov. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 2006. In 2009 he received the title "Honored Artist of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea." For more than 20 years he worked in the Crimean branch of scientific and production workshops for the restoration of monumental paintings. The artist’s works are presented in the Sevastopol Art Museum. M.P. Kroshitsky, Odessa Art Museum of Modern Art, in gallery and private collections in Ukraine and beyond.
