About the artists: Ukrainian Soviet architect.
Voldemar Stanislavovich Bogdanovsky was born on January 1, 1933 in the city of Kronstadt, Leningrad Region, into the family of a military sailor.
In 1936 the family moved to Leningrad. The first school years were spent in Leningrad, but the Great Patriotic War began, and a difficult test fell to the family's lot - the blockade.
After the war, when Voldemar's father returned from the front, in August 1945 the family moved to the city of Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, Odessa region.
In 1951-1957 Voldemar was a student of the Kiev Civil Engineering Institute (KISI), studied at the Faculty of Architecture.
After graduating from the institute in 1957-1961 he worked as an architect at the Research Institute of Building Structures of the Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
Member of the Union of Architects of Ukraine since 1964.
In 1961-1970 he worked at the Kievmetroproject design institute.
From 1970 to 1974 he held the post of chief architect at the Republican Specialized Construction and Restoration Department of the Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments.
From 1975 to 1993 he worked as an artist-architect in the "Khudozhproekt" of the Kiev creative association "Artist".
