Fomin Anatoly Nikiforovich was born: July 4, 1925 in the city of Aktyubinsk (Kazakhstan) in the family of a military man. In 1927, he moved to Zaporozhye with his family. At the beginning of his life's journey, there were many sharp turns: during the war he was a participant in the resistance, prison cell, Buchenwald concentration camp, liberation and service in the Soviet Army in Germany.
In 1954, a meeting with the artist Kolosovsky G.S. He becomes his student along with Chuikov, Gaiduk, Smirnov, Pashkanis, Akinshin. Education until 1960 at the Kharkov Art Institute.
In 1970, Fomin A.N. joins the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Member of Republican and All-Union exhibitions. His works were purchased by the Art Fund and museums of the former Soviet Union.
In 1988-1990 auctioned in France by Arkol et al.
In 1991-1997 collaborates with the galleries of Edward Krosh United Kingdom, London, Manchester.
In 1995-1996 "Road Gallery" United Kingdom, London. In 1995-1999 - Germany, Munich. In 2008 - Holland, Rotterdam.
