About the artist: Born July 26, 1911 in Dubovka, Volgograd region. He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1939). Teachers by specialty - F. Krichevsky, P. Volokidin, M. Sharonov, S. Grigoriev, K. Eleva, I. Pleshchinsky, 3. Tolkachov. He worked in the industry of easel painting. The main works: “Prisoners are Leading” (1943); "Unemployed. Old Donbass "(1957); “The Komsomol mine is here!” (1960); “In the Aral expedition” (1961); “With a song about the Motherland” (all works, except the first, co-authored with M. Wolstein). He participated in exhibitions: republican and all-union since 1947, personal - Lugansk, 1969. He was awarded medals. He died in 1996.
