About the artist: Born in 1964 in Kiev.
Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
In 1987 he graduated from the Kiev Art Institute.
Works as an artist of easel painting (thematic paintings, portraits, still lifes, landscapes), as well as book graphics. Since 1986, a regular participant in art exhibitions. For the Kachanovsky historical and cultural reserve he painted portraits of T. Shevchenko and V. Sternberg, landscapes and still lifes. The works of Yuri Basanets are in many private collections in Ukraine, Canada, Germany. Saychas Yuriy works as a teacher at the Kiev National University of Technology and Design (KNUTD) at the Department of Drawing and Painting.
