About the artist: Born on August 26, 1918 in the village of Kulichtsi (now Sumy region). Graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. Yu. Repin (1951). Teachers by specialty - R. Franz, B. Olkhovsky, I. Sorokin. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He worked in the field of easel painting. Major works: "Gaidamaki" (1961); Buckwheat Blossoms (1963); "Kachanivka" (1964) "; To the Bogunsky regiment to Shchorsa "(1967) and others. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1961, personal - Chernigov, 1963. Awarded with medals. He died in 2006 (2007?).
