About the artist: Born May 5, 1928, in the village of Staraya Gnilitsa, Kharkiv region. Graduated from the Kharkov State Art School; Kharkov National University (1972). Teachers by specialty: A. Safargalin, M. Slipchenko. Painter. The main industries are easel and monumental painting. Author of landscapes and portraits in a realistic style. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1999). He worked in Kharkov: teacher of the Pedagogical Institute (1949-1950), decorator of the Russian Drama Theater named after A. Pushkin (1950-1951), artist of the factory of art products (1951-1954), drawing teacher at school No. 31 (1955-1963), in department of the art fund of the RSFSR (1963-1994). Participated in exhibitions: regional, republican (since 1960). Personal exhibitions - in Kharkov (2004-2006). Major works: "Along the Native Land" (1969), "Spring is Coming" (1974), "New District" (1974), "Artist A. Safargalin" (1985), "Bread of Chuguevshchyna" (1989); painting - "Homeland" (1968), "Spring is coming" (1974), "Gray day. Spring "(1975)," Bread of Chuguevshchyna "(1977)," Artist A. Safargalin "," Persimmon "(both - 1984)," Last Snow "(1988)," Cathedral "(1995)," Spring "(1999 ); encaustic - "Days of October" (1978); with graffito - "Mentor" (1979); pastel - "Girlfriends" (1980s); mosaic - Hammer and Sickle (1981). Lived and worked in the city of Kharkov.
