About the artists: Born in the Mogilev region, Belarus, in 1929. Graduated from the Kostroma Art School (1951-1956). Participated in exhibitions: republican and all-Union (since 1957). Painter. He worked in the field of landscape and subject-thematic painting. The main works are thematic landscapes: "Vitebsk Shipyard" (1960), "Native Land" (1961), "The City Lives" (1962), "Forest for New Buildings" (1963), "New Quarters Are Growing" (1967); a series on a military theme, performed in tempera and gouache: Rocket Center, Night Watch, Paratroopers (1965), Anxiety (1968); a picture on the theme of the civil war: "Glory will not cease in these days" (1967); a series of watercolor landscapes. Lived and worked in Vitebsk, Belarus. He died in 2004.
