About the artist: Born July 1, 1923 in the village of Shulginka, Ekaterinoslav province (now Starobilsky district of the Luhansk region). He studied at the Lugansk Art College (1940-1949). Teachers by specialty: P. Tishchenko. Painter. Member of the 2nd World War. He participated in exhibitions since 1950. The main works are paintings: “Portrait of a student” (1950), “Day off” (1951), “Presentation of the red banner ...” (1954—1955), “Forest” (1957), “Luganchane” "(1960)," Birch trees. 1941 ”(1961),“ Portrait of the Collective Farm Foreman ”(1961),“ Spring Horizons ”(1963),“ When Larks Sing ”(1984),“ April Wind ”(1985),“ Under the Mountain Ash ”(1986) and others. The works are stored in the Lugansk Museum of Local Lore. He died on May 28, 1989 in Lugansk.
