About the artist: Born November 2, 1927 in the village of Yatranovka, Uman district, now Cherkasy region. He graduated from the Simferopol Art College named after M. S. Samokish (1949). Teachers by specialty - M. Shcheglov, S. Vladimirov. Painter. He worked in the industry of easel painting. The author of portraits, landscapes, still lifes. The main works are performed in a realistic manner. Preference is given to plot compositions on the theme of the partisan movement in Crimea during the Great Patriotic War. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1956). He worked in the Crimean art-production plant (1951). Member of regional, republican, foreign art exhibitions (1955). Personal exhibitions - in Simferopol (1998). Major works: “Behind Enemy Lines” (1955), “In the Kerch Catacombs” (1959), “Graduates” (1960), “At Noon” (1960), “V. Dubinin "(1962)," 1941 "(1967)," Girlfriends "(1968)," Before the holiday. Spring "(1971)," Letter "(1974)," Connected "(1979)," Partisan S. Krugov "," In the Partisan Territory "(1984)," Beginning of Autumn "(1990)," Country Boy "(1995 ), "Girlfriends" (1997), "Lilac" (1999, 2002), "Poppies" (2000) and others. The works are stored in the Simferopol Art Museum. He lived and worked in the city of Simferopol, died May 15, 2006. He died in 2006.
