About the artist: Ukrainian painter, graphic artist.
Petr Evlampievich Sabadysh was born on December 21, 1908 (January 3, 1909 in a new style) in the city of Aleksandrovsk, now Zaporozhye.
From 1922 to 1927 he studied at the Zaporozhye art vocational school.
In 1932 he graduated from the Kiev Art Institute, where he studied with A. Bogomazov, V. Palmov, M. Boychuk.
He worked in the field of landscape painting.
Sabadysh P.E. participant of art exhibitions since 1929.
The artist's personal exhibition took place in 1959 in Kiev.
In 1968 he was awarded the Medal and Diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR.
Honored Artist of Ukraine since 1974.
In 1976, paintings by Pyotr Evlampievich participated in an exhibition of works by graduates of the Zaporozhye Art Professional School, held in Zaporozhye.
The Zaporozhye Regional Art Museum presents 17 paintings by Sabadysh.
The artist died on June 16, 1994.
