Painter, graphic artist
He studied at the Kiev Art Institute (1939–1949) with G. P. Svetlitsky and I. N. Shtilman; in 1949 he wrote his thesis “Collective Farm Fields”.
He lived in Kiev. He worked primarily as a landscape painter. Author of paintings: "Dneprodzerzhinsk" (1949), "On the current" (1950), "Where the Zaporizhzhya Sich was" (1952), "Plant named after F. E. Dzerzhinsky ”(1952, together with B. M. Rappoport),“ Moonlit Night ”(1953),“ Evening at the Port ”(1955),“ Sunny Day ”(1955),“ Dnieper ”(1957), “The Sea (1958),“ Here T.G.Shevchenko Lived ”(1963) and others.
Since 1949 - a participant in exhibitions. It was exhibited at the 10th Ukrainian art exhibition (1949), the fine arts of the Ukrainian SSR (1951, 1952), the fine arts of the Ukrainian SSR, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the reunification of Ukraine and Russia (1954), and works by marine painters (1953, 1955) in Kiev , works of artists, marine painters (1954, 1961) in Moscow and others.
He taught at the Kiev Art Institute (1949–1952).
A posthumous exhibition of works was held in 1972 in Kiev.
Creativity is represented in many museum collections, including the National Museum. A. Sheptytsky in Lviv, Dnepropetrovsk Art Museum, Museum T. G. Shevchenko in Kiev.
