About the artist: She was born on December 31, 1924 in Kiev. The wife of Vadim Odainik, mother of Sergei Odainik and Oksana Odainik. Graduated from the Republican Art High School named after T.G. Shevchenko (1941), Kiev Art Institute (1952). Teachers by specialty - I. Shtilman, S. Erzhikovsky, V. Kostetsky, S. Grigoriev, M. Sharonov, K. Eleva. She worked in the field of easel painting. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1957, all-Union since 1961. Major works: "Entry to Kiev" (1957); Spring in the Carpathians (1958); Rest (1958); "Kolkhoz girls" (1964); Immortality (1965), Girls. Poltava region "(1965); Oksanochka (1965); Cheremshina (1969); Autumn (1981); Self-portrait (1985); Bells (1985); "Ukrainian Still Life" (1989); "In the Garden" (1990) and others. The works are kept in the fund of the Directorate of Exhibitions of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, the Directorate of Exhibitions of the Ministry of Culture and Art of the USSR and Ukraine, in galleries of Great Britain, Japan and other countries. She lived and worked in Kiev. She died on September 2, 2002.
