About This Painting

"Like Catchers," sized 130x170 cm, is a masterfully executed oil on canvas that depicts two photographers immersed in capturing the perfect shot within a lush, twilight-lit landscape. The intense focus of the photographers, coupled with the presence of whimsical, floating mechanical bunnies, highlights the fleeting moments that are often the target of modern-day social media enthusiasts.

The title "Like Catchers" cleverly alludes to the quest for social media validation, where 'likes' serve as a digital currency. This painting explores the intersection of nature, technology, and human aspiration, suggesting a critique of our need for external validation and the impact of digital culture on our perception of the world around us.
