About the artist: After graduating from high school in the village. Moshny studied at the Odessa Art School. M. Grekova (teacher K. Martenyuk). In 1975 he graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute (Victor Shatalin's workshop). For more than 25 years he worked as a painter of the Cherkasy Art and Production Plant. Since 2000 he has been working at the Department of Fine and Decorative Arts of Cherkasy National University. B. Khmelnytsky. Teaches students courses "Drawing", "Painting" and others. He received the academic title of associate professor (2000), and in 2015 - professor. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Member of the Art Council of Urban Development of Cherkasy and Deputy Chairman of the Art Council of the University.
As an artist, he considers his teacher to be the People's Artist of Ukraine, winner of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize Fedor Zakharov. Works mainly in the field of easel painting. He writes paintings on historical themes, as well as landscapes and still lifes. Author of about 3 thousand paintings (genre, historical, portrait), the most famous of which are the paintings "Front goes west", "Cherkasy bread" (triptych), "My thoughts, thoughts…", "The last basket", "Kholodnoyarsk mood "," In memory of the sculptor Golovko ", etc. The works are stored in the Art Fund of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, in state museums and private collections of Ukraine and foreign countries (Australia, Great Britain, USA, Germany, Serbia, Montenegro, Poland, Moldova, Russia, Belarus, Japan, etc.). Reproductions of his works have been published in 20 catalogs (separate - "Art Olympus of Ukraine"). Regular participant of regional, republican, international performances, creative trips and international plein airs. He organized 50 personal exhibitions (including more than 30 all-Ukrainian level). Holder of certificates of participation in the All-Ukrainian programs "Golden Fund of the Nation. Ukraine. Europe. World ”(2014) and the Golden Fund of the Nation. Ukraine. A new era ”(2015). Author of about 20 art publications, textbook and co-author of a local lore publication. Participant in scientific conferences. Constantly participates in TV and radio programs on educational and artistic topics.
