About the artists: Bortnikov Nikolay Fedorovich (1916-1998) - Ukrainian painter. Born in the city of Verny, now Alma-Ata. He graduated from the Tashkent Art College (1936) and the Moscow Art Institute named after M. Surikov (1950). Member of the USSR Union of Artists (1950). He worked in the field of easel painting and graphics. Honored Artist of Ukraine (1976). Participant of regional, republican, all-union and international exhibitions (since 1936). Lived and worked in Simferopol. His works are characterized by the variability of the state of nature, there is a lot of light and air in them.
