About the artist: Kizenko Nestor Mitrofanovych was born on March 14, 1926 in the village of Bizh near the village of Khoruzhivka, Nedrigailiv district, Sumy region. Member of the Union of Folk Masters of Ukraine (1998). He graduated from the military art studio at the Tbilisi Academy of Arts (1956). Since 1956 he has lived in Nedrigailov: an artist of the House of Culture, he organized a studio of fine arts. He created still lifes, portraits, genre paintings, landscapes, and painted churches. He died on March 5, 2007.
