About the artist: Born September 25, 1925 in Krapotkini, Krasnodar Territory. Graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1953). Teachers by profession - O. Shovkunenko, T. Yablonska, V. Puzirkov. He worked in the field of easel painting, in a realistic manner. Member of the National Union of Artists (1958). Member of the Great Patriotic War. Awarded with medals. Participated in exhibitions: republican (since 1954), all-Union (since 1957). Major works: "Street Smirnov-Lastochkina" (1952); Lovers (1954); Evening (1956); Friends (1957); "At Noon" (1957) "; Friends "(1958)"; TG Shevchenko (1961); Soldier of the Revolution (1963); "Son" (1964), triptych "In the name of life" (1967), "Ways of Taras" (1969), "Memories", "Morning" (1971), "Water flows" (1980), "Carpathian oilmen" (1987 ), landscapes and still lifes (1990-94). The artist's paintings are kept in museums in Ukraine and abroad. He died on June 17, 2006 in Kiev.
