About the artists: Born on August 22, 1939, in the city of Sumy. He graduated from the Kharkov Art College (1962) and the Moscow Higher School of Art and Industry (1966). Painter, graphic artist, master of artistic textiles. The artist's work is marked by a romantic mood, the use of panoramic space. The main genres are landscape and still life. Honored Artist of Ukraine (1990). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1975). At creative work. He worked in the Sumy branch of the Art Fund of Ukraine. Head of the Sumy organization of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (late 1980s - early 1990s). Participated in exhibitions: regional, republican and international. Personal exhibitions - in Lebedin (Sumy region, 1979), Sumy (1981, 2009). Main works: painting - “Gray Day” (1969), “Partisan Bread”, “Autumn Motif” (1975), “Pumpkins” (1977), “Forest Landscape” (1979), “Spadshchansky Forest” (1980), “ Veresen (1982), From the Soviet Information Bureau (1985), August Evening (1987), Still Life with Roses, Kali (1991), Bach Fugue (1993), Self-Portrait (1993; 2005), "Architectonic Still Life", "Venice" (2003), "In the Studio", "The Thinkers" (2008); series - "Landscapes of the Sumy Region" (1980-1990s), "Parks and Cities of Germany" (2001-2010); tapestry - "City of Sumy" (1991). The works are stored in the Sumy Art Museum. Lived and worked in the city of Sumy.
