About the artist: Soviet Ukrainian painter, landscape painter. Honored Artist of the USSR (since 1985). Member of the USSR. Korostelev (Korostylev) Vladimir Alexandrovich was born on July 21, 1925. He graduated from the Simferopol Art School. N. Samokisha (1955). Participant of numerous regional, republican and all-union exhibitions. He worked in the field of easel painting. In 1976, the Sumy Art Museum hosted a personal exhibition of the artist. A magnificent landscape painter, a master of genre painting. A good colorist. He lived and worked in the city of Sumy. Works by VA Korostyleva are presented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad, are quite rare in the art market of Ukraine and are highly valued by collectors.
