About the artist: She was born on December 20, 1914 in Lugansk. Graduated from the Voroshilovgrad Art School (1938). Teacher by profession - V. Fedchenko. Sculptor. She worked in the field of easel sculpture. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (1967), Union of Artists of the Kazakh SSR (1944-67). Awarded with a medal and diploma of the Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada of the Kazakh SSR. Participated in republican exhibitions (1946). She worked in the experimental workshop of E. Vuchetich (Moscow, 1939-40), in the art funds of Alma-Ata (1941-67) and Simferopol (1967-78). She specialized in large-scale, monumental and easel sculpture of small forms in terms of realism with some generalization of details. Used aluminum, concrete, fireclay, terracotta. The works are kept in the Kazakh State Art Gallery, in regional museums of local lore (Aktobe, Kostanay, Karaganda regions). Major works: "Dzhambul with his granddaughter" (1946); The Young Shepherd (1951); "Bust of Young Abai" (1955); Akin (1956); "Portrait of a Milkmaid" (1959); The Bride (1961); Before Sleep (1962); Let It Not Repeat (1965); "Adzhimushkaytsi" (1970), "The figure of a melancholy girl" (1970), "Lesya Ukrainka" (1972) and others. She lived and worked in Kerch. She died in March 1997 in the city of Kerch, Crimea.
